Media is widely accepted powerful medium to spread the information and knowledge to mass population and the surveys also proved that media are the most powerful tool to educate people about HIV. With the wide spread development of FM radios, televisions and the internet access in Nepal, people depend on media for accessing proper information in their daily life. To improve news and information coverage related to Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) and HIV in the media; providing knowledge, sensitization, and change it into reporting habit as an important subject is important. These all parts were address by this short term project. More specifically the objectives were;
- To increase awareness to local and national level journalists on SRH and HIV.
- To create greater coverage of issues of SRH and HIV in both electronic and print media.
