“How to become a media Savvy”
After the historical Constituent Assembly (CA) elections in Nepal, the political participation of women
has become very inspiring and has even motivated other countries which are in peace process. Women
actively participated in the CA elections and surprised everyone by staying in long queues from early
morning to cast their votes. The elderly, the pregnant women who were not well- all cast their votes in the
election. As a result 29 women won their candidacy through direct elections and 191 women were
successful in being the CA members through the proportionate system.
