On 22–23 March 2026, the Media Advocacy Group (MAG), in collaboration with UN Women, successfully organized a two-day training for journalists in Gandaki Province. The training aimed to strengthen the professional capacity of media practitioners in key areas, including inclusive and ethical reporting, combating misinformation and disinformation, and addressing online gender-based violence. By convening journalists and encouraging constructive dialogue, the program contributed to promoting responsible journalism and reinforcing the media’s vital role as a driver of positive and meaningful social change.
