On 18–19 March 2026, the Media Advocacy Group (MAG), in collaboration with UN Women, successfully conducted a two-day training program for journalists in Lumbini Province. The training focused on strengthening professional capacity in key areas, including inclusive and ethical reporting, combating misinformation and disinformation, and addressing online gender-based violence. By bringing together media professionals and fostering critical dialogue, the program contributed to enhancing responsible journalism practices and reinforcing the role of the media as a catalyst for positive and meaningful social change.
