On 16 April 2026, the Media Advocacy Group (MAG), in collaboration with Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Nepal, successfully organized a panel discussion titled “Reframing Geopolitics through a Gender Perspective.” The event served as an important platform for fostering meaningful dialogue on the intersection of gender, international relations, and geopolitical discourse, while promoting more inclusive and gender-responsive perspectives in global affairs. The session was honored by the keynote address of Dr. Purna Bahadur Silwal_(Major General, Retd.), Security Analyst  and enriched by insightful contributions from distinguished panelists, including Ms.Bidya Bhattarai_Former Minister, Mr. Buddha Tsering Moktan_Political Analyst and Geopolitical Expert, and Ms.Sonia Awale_Editor, Nepali Times. The discussion marked a significant step toward advancing critical reflection and gender-responsive approaches within geopolitics, policy discourse, and media engagement.
