On December 19, 2024, the Media Advocacy Group (MAG) and the Forum for Women, Law, and Development (FWLD) held an interactive program addressing citizenship issues within constitutional amendments. This initiative united journalists from prominent media outlets for a comprehensive discussion on these critical matters.

Keynote speakers included Honorable Ms. Rekha Sharma (CPN Maoist Center), Honorable Ms. Sita Gurung (Nepali Congress), and Honorable Dr. Binda Pandey (CPN UML), who shared valuable perspectives related to citizenship issues. The program was facilitated by Ms. Babita Basnet, Senior Journalist and Executive Director of MAG, and featured in-depth analysis by Advocate Mr. Sabin Shrestha, Executive Director of FWLD.
